      Role
      Builder/Supervisor (Exhibition & Spatial Design) – Full time, Permanent
      Location
      Based in Norwich with travel

      We are looking to appoint an experienced Builder/ Supervisor within our E & S D workshop prep team. The primary focus of the role will be to support the Head of Workshop and supervise the wider build team within the prep area. You will also be working alongside a team of designers, project managers and carpenters. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the preparation and building of Event, Exhibition and internal/external spatial installations or you may possess a similar trade background utilising carpentry, painting and finishing skills.

      You will have experience of allocating daily work schedules and supervising others with a good working knowledge of Health & Safety within a workshop environment. The ability to work from technical drawings is essential to ensure projects are managed though the workshop effectively using the most appropriate construction methods. Excellent organisational skills and eye for detail is needed to oversee the quality control of kit. Experience of undertaking frequent lifting and movement of sets/furniture within the workshop, on site and loading of vehicles is a part of this role. A forklift licence is desirable however training could be provided.

      The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly within the team, be enthusiastic, very well organised, and a team player who can multi-task and work to strict deadlines whilst still delivering great service. There will be some requirement to work during weekends or evenings when there is a business need. You will need to be independently mobile to perform this role as there will be a requirement to attend event venues to manage build projects and crews on site within the UK and overseas.

    • Technical Production Manager

      We are looking to recruit an additional Technical Production Manager to join our wider Technical Services team. The focus of the role will be to provide technical production support for our virtual and hybrid events.

      This role will work closely with our Producers, Project Managers and Freelance Production Managers in providing bespoke, effective technical solutions within budget to our clients. You will need to possess an excellent understanding of all audio-visual elements required to deliver successful virtual and hybrid events.

      You will take briefs from clients, prepare quotations, negotiate discounts, schedule, and deliver events. When required you will need to be hands on and undertake pre-event site visits, prep equipment and when necessary provide on-site technical support.

      You should also be comfortable building good relationships with suppliers, freelance contractors and be used to sub-hiring equipment when necessary.

      The successful candidate will be an experienced project manager, with excellent communication and organisation skills who can multi-task while keeping to strict deadlines.

    • Event Producer

      Wanted – an experienced technically competent and creative Event Producer to join an outstanding Creative Communications Agency delivering exceptional events and experiences.

      As we continue to deliver exceptional virtual and hybrid event experiences for our clients, we are looking for an additional Event Producer with at least three years experience to join our team. You will have a proven track record in delivering exemplary, creative and inspiring corporate events to a wide range of clients in healthcare, insurance, finance, publishing etc.

      You will have demonstrable end to end project management skills ensuring budgets are monitored and that all project milestones/timelines are met. This role requires high attention to detail and good client relationship skills are a pre-requisite. You will strive to creatively interpret our client’s briefs utilising all internal resources to deliver innovative ideas and solutions which address our client’s objectives.

      Technically competent, and confident you will lead our clients through all aspects of the production process. Experience of working with a variety of streaming platforms combined with broadcast and studio knowledge is essential.

    • Audio Visual Technician, Exhibitions

      We are looking to recruit an additional team member to join our Technical Services team based from our offices in Norwich. The focus of the role will be to provide technical expertise and support with all the technology required for our bespoke exhibition stands.

      The successful candidate will first and foremost have an excellent understanding of audio visual equipment/technology used within the corporate exhibition industry, as well as what is required to deliver successful hybrid and live events.

      The role will be extremely varied and will work closely with our Exhibition & Spatial Design team to help with identifying technical solutions for our projects. The role will include recommending cabling and components, estimating build times, producing technical electrical CAD drawings if required, calculating power requirements and testing, specifying rigging and crew requirements for build and installation, producing and maintaining project documentation including quotes. You will be required to attend pre-event meetings, on site to support delivery when required and post event briefings.

      The successful candidate will be technically competent with a background and some prior experience of exhibitions/AV installations. You will be enthusiastic, solutions orientated, well organised, and a team player who can multi-task and work to strict deadlines whilst still delivering great service. You should also have client facing experience.

      You will be required to work flexibly and be available to work during weekends or evenings when there is a business need. You will need to be independently mobile to perform this role as you will need to travel ideally by car to the various event delivery locations for our clients’ projects when required.       As we continue to deliver exceptional live, virtual and hybrid event experiences for our clients, we are looking for a Project Assistant to join our Project team.

      The Project Assistant opportunity is an entry level role which will be an exciting, demanding, and varied role. The successful candidate will have a passion for developing a career within the events industry. You may be a recent graduate and/or have some experience of supporting/planning events. The role will provide day to day project support to the relevant Project Managers, Senior Producers and Producers on multiple event projects which will range in budget and complexity in a fast paced environment.

      You will have some experience in providing administrative project support and possess strong IT, and interpersonal skills. Some previous knowledge of project planning is desirable. There will be the need to attend client meetings and support with the flow of information by undertaking progress meeting notes to update internal departments of the project actions/status. You will also have some dealings with third party suppliers and venues.

      This role requires high attention to detail and good organisational ability. You will need to be able to work both autonomously and collaboratively and possess a ‘can do’ attitude. An awareness of working with client brand guidelines, internal policies and codes of conduct are also desirable. There will be the need to support projects on site at various locations within the UK and overseas when required.

You will be required to work flexibly within the team and be available to work during weekends or evenings when there is a business need.
