      Role
      Technical Production Manager – full time, permanent

      We are looking to recruit an additional Technical Production Manager to join our wider Technical Services team. The focus of the role will be to provide technical production support for our virtual and hybrid events.

      This role will work closely with our Producers, Project Managers and Freelance Production Managers in providing bespoke, effective technical solutions within budget to our clients. You will need to possess an excellent understanding of all audio-visual elements required to deliver successful virtual and hybrid events.

      You will take briefs from clients, prepare quotations, negotiate discounts, schedule, and deliver events. When required you will need to be hands on and undertake pre-event site visits, prep equipment and when necessary provide on-site technical support.

      You should also be comfortable building good relationships with suppliers, freelance contractors and be used to sub-hiring equipment when necessary.

      The successful candidate will be an experienced project manager, with excellent communication and organisation skills who can multi-task while keeping to strict deadlines.

    • Audio Visual Technician, Exhibitions

      Role
      Audio Visual Technician, Exhibitions - full time, permanent
      Location
      Based in Norwich with some travel when required

      We are looking to recruit an additional team member to join our Technical Services team based from our offices in Norwich. The focus of the role will be to provide technical expertise and support with all the technology required for our bespoke exhibition stands.

      The successful candidate will first and foremost have an excellent understanding of audio visual equipment/technology used within the corporate exhibition industry, as well as what is required to deliver successful hybrid and live events.

      The role will be extremely varied and will work closely with our Exhibition & Spatial Design team to help with identifying technical solutions for our projects. The role will include recommending cabling and components, estimating build times, producing technical electrical CAD drawings if required, calculating power requirements and testing, specifying rigging and crew requirements for build and installation, producing and maintaining project documentation including quotes. You will be required to attend pre-event meetings, on site to support delivery when required and post event briefings.

      The successful candidate will be technically competent with a background and some prior experience of exhibitions/AV installations. You will be enthusiastic, solutions orientated, well organised, and a team player who can multi-task and work to strict deadlines whilst still delivering great service. You should also have client facing experience.

      You will be required to work flexibly and be available to work during weekends or evenings when there is a business need. You will need to be independently mobile to perform this role as you will need to travel ideally by car to the various event delivery locations for our clients’ projects when required.       The position of Head of Motion is an excellent opportunity for a passionate, talented, and driven individual who is excited by the challenge of taking a lead in this growing area of Pb. Collaborating with the Director of Creative & Digital, and the wider team at Pb, you will be responsible for driving excellence within our motion studio, as well impacting creatively across the wider business.

      We are looking for someone with experience in a creative motion environment, creatively driven, with a commercially focused approach, who has an excellent knowledge of all aspects of motion production from pitch to delivery including technical production.

      Primarily, you will be an experienced leader who can motivate, inspire, develop, and galvanise a team - you will also be comfortable with reviewing and implementing improved ways of working where appropriate. You will take executive ownership of all Motion projects, ensuring that our output meets and exceeds our client’s expectations – driving a creative approach to all aspects of our work.

      The role has a client focus, underpinned by the desire to expand, and develop the Motion service and offering. You will have an exceptional understanding of how to approach, shape and deliver a client proposal, and be able to identify and guide the right creative solution for projects through the members of the Motion team. Our strength is delivering projects on time and within budget and so this should be important but should not stifle your ability to shape and grow the motion offerings.

      The key elements of the role are:

      • Build a Motion studio that goes beyond its current offering to grow the business in line with our ambitions and strategy
      • Integrate, shaping and galvanising the motion studio by driving product development
      • Lead, energise, enable, and motivate the team
      • Lead on, and support where necessary, the creative aspects on projects as Project Exec Producer
      • Champion the creative process - from brief to review - with authority and credibility
      • Be a change agent for new ways of working and thinking

    • Exhibition & Spatial Design Project Manager

      Wanted – an experienced Project Manager to join our outstanding Exhibition & Spatial Design team delivering exceptional exhibitions and creative spatial installation solutions.

      As we continue to deliver exceptional exhibition booths plus virtual and hybrid exhibitions, event experiences and interior installations for our clients, we are looking for an additional experienced Exhibition & Spatial Design Project Manager to join our team.

      Client focused you will have demonstrable end to end project management skills with experience of scoping briefs, quoting activities, monitoring budgets, as well as experience in setting/meeting project milestones/timelines. This role requires a high attention to detail and good client relationship skills are a pre-requisite. You will strive to creatively interpret our client’s briefs utilising all internal resources to deliver innovative ideas and solutions which address our client’s objectives.

      Ideally you will have a background in exhibition management/interior installations which encompasses the development of a brief, design, event delivery and an appreciation of new industry trends. You will be technically competent with an understanding of the exhibition life cycle. You will also ideally have knowledge of exhibition construction/manufacturing processes and be comfortable leading clients through all aspects of the production elements of projects. You will have a good working knowledge of health & safety requirements specifically relating to exhibition management.

      There will be the requirement to support project delivery on site in various locations in the UK and internationally, so a driving license is essential. Flexibility with working hours is also desirable as there will be occasions when some projects may be delivered during evenings/weekends.
