Homerton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has this year developed a means of providing essential knowledge to frontline staff in the form of ‘Action Cards’ via a new app. We here at Pb designed and created an app that delivers responsive regular updates, info and inter-activity (all done in partnership with a global healthcare tech company, a member of the Foundation Trust and BD). The app was introduced to the A&E team in January 2019 and has been widely heralded a success, taking their original ‘Action Cards’ to the next level – demonstrated, not only by the positive feedback of its users, but also the sheer level of usage with 2142 different sessions in the first month alone. The buzz that has been generated around the app is also demonstrated by the glowing feedback and results from its user surveys, with 62% making use of the content daily and nearly 400 devices using the app over 6700 times monthly.
Following this buzz – Homerton University Hospital have won a spectacular award for Patient Safety Learning, for the HUH Action Card App. We are delighted to have helped deliver something that is benefitting so many people and proving to be such a success within hospitals! Indie Rock Quartet Kalon
Pb Motion, part of Pb Creative are out across the capital shooting a brand new music video for indie rock quartet Kalon.
The band have recently been in the studio recording tracks for release this year including the fantastic ‘Barcelona’ which is the focus for the video. Produced & directed by in-house creative, Matt Scantlebury, the video explores love, loss and regret between a young couple. http://kalonmusic.com/.

Ernie’s Zero Waste shop!
We are so excited to be supporting such a great cause at Ernie’s Zero Waste shop! Pb are so chuffed to be featured as one of the many companies who have played a part in successfully crowd funding to support this environmentally friendly alternative to high street shops.
All items at Ernie’s Zero Waste shop are vegan and along with consumables the shop also stocks shampoo, conditioners and household cleaning products which are all chemical-free as well as items such as plastic-free cotton buds, greetings cards made from recycled paper and reusable cotton face wipes. A great step in the right direction for the environment.

Hootsuite, Adobe Summit, Las Vegas, US
Production Bureau were proud to support Hootsuite at the Adobe Summit 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. We designed and created their exhibition stand, providing custom touch screen content and on-site visitor analytics. Working closely with the events management and brand team to deliver this exciting stand build in the US.

NIHR/NHS Rebos Research Adventure
Pb are pleased to have been able to work with the NIRH with their fantastic project; Rebo’s Research Adventure, which can be downloaded from the Appstore and Google Play for Tablets right now! Tim Biddle our in-house illustrator and our own Senior Motion Graphics Designer, Douglas Merton have created with the help of the NHIR comms team ‘Robo’, a fantastic little time traveling robot, who’s primary mission is to recover lost diabetes research and save lives.
From inception to publication this has been an intensely interesting project which is designed to create awareness and interest in the good work that the research team are doing for Diabetes. Seven perfectly designed worlds and varying levels of difficulty make this an attractive game for kids and adults alike.
UEA – New Science Building Installation
Even though we’re celebrating our 30th this year we’re proud to say that we’re heading back to university. We are supporting the University of East Anglia (UEA) – one of the country’s leading universities, and a renowned research institute, to deliver eye catching and compelling installation as part of their new science building.
As a centre for innovation, collaboration and excellence, the New Science building represents the core value of the UEA – ‘thinking without borders’ – and we have been tasked with creating installations with wall branding and other collateral to reflect and celebrate this ideal.
