UEA: A degree of distinction

When we were tasked to transform the University of East Anglia’s (UEA) Sportspark into a venue fit for the UEA Graduation ceremony, we knew we’d need to call on every one of our areas of expertise.

The UEA Graduation ceremony showcased everything that makes us an exceptional live events management team. Outside the venue, our producers created a party atmosphere with a live band, drinks, nibbles and custom-built, environmentally-friendly loos. Inside, our Exhibition & Display team provided bespoke branding throughout, from the front doors to the ceremony space. Meanwhile, Technical draped the main hall and brought in 1,300 seats, 4 giant banners and a 7m screen for the ceremony itself. Finally, props to our bright sparks in Creative who designed and produced the new branding, programmes, tickets and 250m of bunting.

Over five days, we witnessed 19 ceremonies, 5,000 happy graduates, one marriage proposal and a client who was on cloud nine with our performance. No wonder we’re in seventh heaven and can’t wait to start planning the next UEA Graduation.
