Wanted – Supervisor/Builder – Sport to join an outstanding multi-service brand agency delivering exceptional events and experiences. This newly created role will work within our established Sports Team reporting to the Project Director, Sport and focuses on the interior fit out of corporate temporary structures from design to install.
We are very interested in hearing from individuals who ideally have previous experience in the manufacture of premium hospitality spaces within a temporary pre-built structure. You will be able to demonstrate an aptitude or have experience in the preparation and building of temporary structures for corporate hospitality events or previous shopfitting experience utilising practical carpentry, painting and finishing skills. You will also be experienced with supervising and managing other team members.
The role will work alongside the Sport Spatial Designers, Project team and the wider Exhibition & Spatial Design team members within the workshop and warehouse environment. The role will require the individual to build a full and detailed knowledge of the project requirements along with possessing the appropriate practical skills to ensure excellent build and preparation skills to deliver project elements from design to installation.
A quick summary of other necessary skills/experience are:
• People management skills and be used to supervising the work of others which could be freelancers and other prep work colleagues who may be supporting the project build elements
• Experience of allocating daily work schedules and meeting deadlines
• Skilled in working from technical drawings to ensure projects are managed through effectively using the most appropriate construction methods
• Experience of inventory management, liaising with suppliers
• Practical knowledge and experience of construction specifically working within temporary structures with good finishing skills
• Carpentry knowledge and skills would be desirable
• Experience to overseeing quality control of build elements
• Experience of creating Drawing to Load processes is desirable
• Prior experience of working on-site at events is desirable
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety – warehouse/workshop and on-site
• Good level of IT skills – Microsoft i.e. MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word
• Ability to undertake frequent lifting with the loading and unloading of vehicles and re-construction of sets on-site before and after an event
• Forklift licence
The successful candidate will be pro-active, enthusiastic, very well organised, and a team player who can multi-task and work to strict deadlines whilst still delivering great service. You will be required to work flexibly within the team and be available to work during weekends or evenings either at the warehouse/workshop or on site when there is a business need. You will need to be independently mobile to perform this role.

As we continue to deliver exceptional live event experiences, exhibitions, and interior installations for our clients, we are looking to recruit an experienced Spatial Design Manager ideally from an agency background to lead, galvanise and drive the development of our team of spatial designers. You will be responsible for driving excellence and innovation within our spatial design offering to our clients from within our Norwich studio from concept to manufacture.
An experienced people manager you will provide line management of the Spatial Design team on a day-to-day basis in everything from performance, training and development, team briefings, studio work allocation, resources, and welfare.
You will also be an excellent senior level spatial designer who is technically competent with an outstanding understanding of creating design environments and spaces that exceed client briefs. You will have experience of creating visuals, accurate scaled floor plans, component drawings, creative sketches as well as the ability to  provide detailed manufacturing drawings. You will need a high level of understanding of Vectorworks and Unreal Engine software for producing visuals.
The successful candidate will have prior experience of the corporate event/installation/exhibition industry working alongside producers/project management and manufacturing teams.
With first rate client facing skills and prior experience with supporting pitches and presentations you should be enthusiastic, solutions orientated, well organised, who can multi-task and work to strict deadlines whilst still delivering great service. Prior experience of quoting is essential for spatial design elements.
There may be the need to travel to event/exhibition/installation venues on occasion as part of undertaking site visits to gather information therefore you will need to be independently mobile to perform this role. Flexibility with working hours is also desirable as there will be occasions when you may be required to support projects on-site which may be delivered during evenings/weekends.

Wanted – a Junior Exhibition & Spatial Designer to work alongside our exceptional team of talented designers.
As we continue to deliver exceptional exhibition and event experiences, along with interior installations and virtual environments for our clients, we are looking to add to our Exhibition & Spatial Design team.
You will work as part of the Spatial Design team, within the Pb Studio, providing professional and creative input into the design of all Exhibition & Spatial design drawings from concept to manufacture. You will have some experience of supporting client briefs and creating visuals, creative sketches, and accurate scaled floor plans and component drawings ideally using Vectorworks and Unreal Engine.
You will be enthusiastic to develop a career in spatial design, be well organised, possess high attention to detail and a multi-tasker who can juggle deadlines and projects. We will consider applications from design graduates wishing to gain more experience.
There may be the need to travel to exhibition/event venues on occasion as part of supporting onsite delivery of projects therefore you will need to be independently mobile to perform this role.
